Randall Made Knife Model 11 45 Unused Stag GripsRandall made knife model 11, alaskan skinner, 4.5 stainless blade, unused, uncarried lots of extras. With choice stag grips, nickel silver hilt, nickel silver btut cap, nickel silver lined hole. Nickel silver and black spacers at hilt. Aesthetically a beautiful work of art by randall. Nickel silver hilt was hard to photograph and gives off a yellowish reflection but it is brigth nickel. Silver not brass just picked up reflections that yellowed it. According to randall, the alaskan skinner was the original drpo point blade. It aws designed by noted. Alaskan guide, tommy thompson in 1952 for big-game skinning with point dropped below tpo of blade to. Prevent cutting too deeply through skins when used point first. Top of blade is notched for thumb placement. To order a knife like this, would take years. But have collected randall knives for over 40 years.
